Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Your case documents are among the most sensitive records you have. This policy explains, plainly, what we collect, where it lives, who can reach it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address and, for attorneys, your bar number.
- Your documents — the files you upload and the items our engine extracts from them.
- Basic usage data — to keep the Service running and secure.
Where it's stored and how it's protected
Your documents are stored in a private vault hosted on Supabase (infrastructure on Amazon Web Services). They are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), and isolated per user with row-level security — no other user can ever see your records.
Who can access your records
- You. Your records are yours.
- No other user, ever. Accounts are walled off from each other.
- Us and our infrastructure providers only as needed to operate and secure the Service. We never sell or rent your data, and we don’t browse your documents. We access content only for four reasons, each logged: (1) to provide a feature you requested (such as analysis); (2) to help you when you ask for support; (3) to investigate a specific, articulable concern that the honesty rule or house rules are being violated — with cause, never as a fishing trip; (4) to comply with law or protect someone’s safety. Curiosity is not on the list, and never will be.
AI document analysis
When you choose to Analyze a document, its text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to read that document and return the structure. Under Anthropic’s API terms, your content is not used to train any AI model. We do not analyze a document unless you ask us to.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small set of trusted providers:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and document storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — AI document analysis (only when you run it).
Your choices and rights
You can view your documents anytime, delete any document, and delete your entire account and its data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or export your data — contact us and we’ll help.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete a document or your account, we remove it from our systems; routine backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We’ll post updates here with a new date. Material changes will be highlighted.
